How to heal your relationship with money

In our society, there are many beliefs around money. These beliefs vary from person to person, from culture, from class & from upbringing. To some, money is the root of all evil, to others money is just a part of life & to others they can never have enough. Many of us get our “money mindset” from those who raised us. We may not even be conscious of some of the conditioning that we received in the early years of our lives. Money is a part of our daily lives and it is quite unavoidable.  So in a world where we work with money on a daily basis... How can we create an empowering relationship with money? How can we feel grounded with money? And how can we work through the limiting beliefs that we have around money?

  1. Understand that money has no energy attached to it - it is neither good nor bad. We have the say in how money feels to us. It is our choice to use money to empower us, it is our choice to appreciate money and it is our choice to define wealth. Money has never done evil, only those who have chosen to use money for evil have done evil.

  2. Reflect on your money mindset - How do you feel about money? What was your parents' relationship with money? How did money feel while growing up? What is your current relationship with money? When we reflect on our beliefs, we can see a bigger picture of the conditioning that we may have around money. Question why you have the beliefs that you do and in this, you will be able to release and redefine them as needed.

  3. Reflect & show gratitude for what money brings to your life - When you are enjoying dinner at night, going to bed in your home or traveling to beautiful places in the world, reflect on your gratitude for all of these things. Gratitude can only bring more peace into your relationship with money.

  4. Be kind to yourself - many people have trauma or deep rooted conditioning around money. Our world has spread many messages around money that often stick to us. It is okay to have this conditioning - but you need to work through it to live a more balanced & healthy life.

  5. Write or print out healing money mantras that inspire you & help you create a better relationship to money.

Repeat this Mantra

I love money.

I choose to do good with my money.

I respect money.

Money flows effortlessly to me,

Every dollar I spend comes back to me multiplied.

I feel good about money.

I am open and willing to receive money,

I welcome an abundance of money into my life,

Creating a healthy relationship with money can & will  open you up to so many blessings in this life. You are worthy of receiving abundance. You are worthy of feeling calm and grounded around money. And you are worthy of feeling free around money. Healing your relationship around money takes time and strength but it is so worth it.
