tap, bottled, reverse osmosis…

“our world is more toxic than ever before…our food choices, beverage choices, quality of air and quality of thoughts are impacting our lives in destructible ways. for the well being of ourselves, our families and loved ones, we must adapt to a healthier, more holistic change.”

— CHARLES DARWIN

In a world where burning fossil fuels, overusing chemicals and pesticides, and creating sewage run-off are common practices, it’s obvious that we should be concerned about what’s happening to our drinking water — and what the long term effects are of the water we are given to drink.

tap water

  • 315 pollutants have been found in America’s tap, and over half of these pollutants are completely unregulated and can legally exist in any amount.

  • Most tap water contains fluoride

  • A nine-month investigation by the Guardian and Consumer Reports found alarming levels of forever chemicals, arsenic and lead in 120 water samples across the US. In total, 118 out of 120 samples had detectable levels of lead.

bottled water

  • 1/3 of the bottled water tested contains levels of contamination which exceed allowable limits.

  • 1/4 of bottled water Is Just tap water.

  • Bottled water is 2,000 times more expensive than tap water.

  • 91% of plastic water bottles are not recycled.

  • One million water bottles are purchased every minute.

  • Some companies, like Nestle, steal water from Indigenous people.

reverse osmosis

  • healthy + vital minerals are completely removed, leaving you with dead water that needs to be remineralized.

  • RO systems can waste up to 20 gallons of water per each gallon of filtered water produced.

  • RO systems by nature produce wastewater that’s often corrosive and brackish.

  • Membranes get clogged easily + expensive repairs.

It’s clear that these three options aren’t good enough. We can do better, and our planet deserves better.

We are determined to make a lasting change on this planet.
